Justin wanted to showcase his solar system place mat because he did a great job on his presentation by choosing the right colours and not leaving any white. He added cool faces to the planets and sun, and an asteroid headed towards Mars.

Maisie wanted to showcase her work because she was proud of the puppies she drew. She was able to give lots of information about dogs. A top effort by Maisie!

Abby was proud of her persuasive poster as it is about wildlife and everyone should help wildlife. Abby was proud her work was colourful with clouds in the background. Her favourite thing about the poster is letting people know you should take care of wildlife because wildlife is a really good ting.

Nate was proud of his work as he went beyond 3 stars (he coloured in the lines, added detail with lots of colour). Great job Nate on your persuasive poster!


Arlo was proud of the work he completed as he was able to show different ways we can show kindness at school. Some great drawings there Arlo!

Liam wanted to showcase his Maths this week. He was proud of being able to identify the place value of digits in decimal numbers.

Lachlan was proud of his work because he was able to solve 3 digit division that had remainders - and he did an entire page of problems in one lesson!

Josh was proud of his writing because he wrote more than two pages on a topic he was interested in. There was lots of information about Hot Wheels!

Zara is proud of her persuasive writing because she had a sheet of high modality words, and used as many as she could. Zara also used facts to support her main idea.

Sean was proud of learning Roman numerals in the High Ability program because it was confusing but he figured it out.

Sean's work
Students had to create a machine that would make life easier at school.
Sean says "I am proud of my work because I had a go at drawing and I enjoyed the writing and I made everyone laugh (except for the teachers)."

Zara's work
Zara chose to showcase her work today because she is really proud of it. Zara said she got to finish it in the given time, knew a lot about it, knows how to make pesto pasta gnocchi and is really proud of the neatness of her handwriting as there are no floating Es.
